Machete Kills is a thrilling action-packed film that follows the adventures of Machete Cortez, a former Mexican federal and vigilante who is recruited by the President of the USA, Rathcock. Machete is accused of killing his beloved partner, Sartana Rivera, but is saved from execution when Rathcock pardons him and enlists him to stop Marcos Mendez, a revolutionary who threatens the USA with a missile bomb.
In San Antonio, Machete teams up with Miss San Antonio, Blanca Vasquez, who serves as a liaison between him and President Rathcock. Together, they embark on a dangerous mission to find Cereza, Mendez's mistress, at Madame Desdemona's brothel. There, they discover that Mendez's heart is connected to the missile, and the only person who can disarm it is Luther Voz, an infamous arms dealer.
With limited time, Machete must bring Mendez to the USA within 24 hours to save the country. Along the way, he encounters numerous betrayals and dangerous obstacles, testing his skills and determination.
