Details
In Dolphin Tale 2, it has been a few years since Sawyer Nelson and the team at Clearwater Marine Hospital successfully rescued Winter, a dolphin with a prosthetic tail. Unfortunately, Winter's surrogate mother, Panama, has passed away, leaving Winter alone in her pool. According to USDA regulations, Winter cannot be housed alone because dolphins require social interaction with other dolphins.
Dr. Clay Haskett and his team are now under pressure to find a suitable companion for Winter before they lose her to another aquarium. They are running out of time and must act quickly to ensure Winter's well-being.
As they search for a new companion, the team faces challenges and setbacks. They encounter an orphaned dolphin named Hope, who they hope could be a suitable poolmate for Winter. However, Winter is resistant to accepting Hope, leaving the team unsure of what to do.
