Details
The movie Bernard och Bianca i Australien (1990) follows the story of Cody, a young boy living in Mugwomp Flats, who comes across a distress call from a giant Golden Eagle named Marahute. Cody manages to free Marahute and forms a strong bond with the bird. However, their happiness is short-lived as the evil poacher, Percival McLeach, kidnaps Cody in order to capture the rare and valuable bird.
In a desperate attempt to save Cody, a mouse that Cody had previously helped sends a distress call to the Rescue Aid Society in New York City. The organization assigns their top agents, Miss Bianca and Bernard, to the mission. They team up with Wilbur, a clumsy albatross, who provides them with transportation to Australia.
Once in Australia, Bianca and Bernard face numerous challenges as they try to rescue Cody and Marahute from McLeach's clutches. Along the way, they encounter various Australian animals who assist them on their mission.
