Bamse och den lilla åsnan (1981) is a heartwarming animated film that follows the adventures of Bamse, the world's strongest and nicest bear. In this particular movie, Bamse comes across a small donkey being mistreated by an evil man. Determined to help, Bamse and his friends come together to build a house for the donkey and provide it with a safe haven.
The donkey, it turns out, is incredibly fast and has the potential to compete in the prestigious Dee Trotting Championship. Alongside his friends, Bamse trains the donkey and prepares it for the big race. However, they soon discover that Croesus Sork, who owns a fast horse named Black Ash, will be their competition.
As the race draws nearer, Croesus becomes desperate to win and resorts to dirty tricks and manipulation. Bamse and his friends must stay resilient and outsmart Croesus in order to secure the well-deserved victory for the donkey.
Meanwhile, a wolf with dreams of becoming as strong as Bamse stumbles upon a can of strange sawsanjabbour. Consuming it, the wolf believes he now possesses the strength he desires and plots to carry out his mischievous plans.
