Details
Thick as Thieves (2009) follows the story of experienced art thief Keith Ripley, who recruits Gabriel Martin, a bold thief from Miami, to join him in an ambitious heist. Ripley plans to steal two valuable and mysterious antique Faberge eggs worth twenty million dollars each on the black market. These eggs are located in the well-protected Russian jewelry Romanov's safe.
Ripley needs his share of the heist's profits to free himself from a debt to a powerful mobster called Nicky. Gabriel initially hesitates to join the heist, but after a one-night stand with Ripley's goddaughter, Alexandra Karolin, he eventually agrees.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Weber, who has been pursuing Ripley for two decades without success, manages to figure out how to anticipate Ripley's movements in an attempt to finally catch him.
This action-packed crime thriller is filled with suspense as Ripley and Gabriel navigate their way through a complex heist while being pursued by the determined Lieutenant Weber.
